Just before work I thought I’d get a bottle of Auchentoshan while we still had double discount (20%) for the week (ends at midnight tonight when it returns to the normal 10%).
Bought a bottle of another Scotch that’s on offer while the discount was there .
The Auchentoshan is currently down from £32 to £22 and the Cardhu 12 Year Old Reserve is currently down from £45 to £25, plus the 20% discount on top. I think it’s a good deal even if I end up not liking the Cardhu I got to try.

Saw this yesterday while I was passing buy to grab an Amarone for my steak. Had to get it... rare day there is such a discount at LCBO.
It’s been quite a while I’ve seen this under $80. Gone way up ever since the good reviews.

Well the double staff discount expired at midnight (four and a bit hours ago) and it's a sackable offence to let someone use my discount card but ye', go on. My jobs sucks anyways. Lol.

Dude, any discount is better than I get here. Where we also have some dipfuck who knows nothing about alcohol decide what we can and can’t have.
So we can have the most expensive shit imaginable from Jim Beam or Pappy Van Winkle. But Hibiki Harmony? “NO!” Nikka Coffey Grain? “NO!!” Texas Baby Blue ? “NO!!”

Ouch we get drink much cheaper, even have what's called 'booze cruised' from Scotland (just over the border four miles away) because they have a minimum price per unit of alcohol where as England doesn't.

It’s funny because we are right on the border so we benefit from the Scottish trade and get stories such as:
Our store delivers ‘home shopping’ quite a way up into Scotland and though the order originated in Scotland the delivery is fulfilled from an English store so they can get cheaper drink and we get the money.
